Why we do not use preservatives

We do not add preservatives to our cocktails because we want the ingredients to show up clearly in the glass. Preservatives can extend the life of some flavours, especially citrus, but they can also leave a noticeable stamp on the drink.

Our cocktails sit at a higher ABV, which helps keep them stable and prevents them from spoiling under normal storage. Even so, without preservatives, we recommend buying to drink, not buying to forget.

Since we use fresh ingredients, it is common to see citrus settle at the bottom of the bottle. That separation is normal. Give the bottle a gentle shake before serving, and you are good to go.
